Monna Morton, an accomplished real estate veteran with more than 25 years of experience in the retail sector, joined Corporate Property Dispositions in 2016. Previously, she served as the national real estate director at Bass Pro Shops; senior real estate manager of development at Kohl’s Department Store; Midwest director of real estate at The Home Depot; and managing general partner for the Southern retail division of Trammell Crow Company.

Throughout her career Monna has worked on projects as diverse as big box power centers, mixed-use developments, neighborhood strip centers, grocery-anchored centers, lifestyle centers, and outparcels. She has been responsible for land acquisitions; land sales; retail development; build-to-suit developments; new store development programs; market studies and strategies; site selections; rightsizings/downsizings; store relocations; and lease negotiations, including renewals, restructuring and terminations. Additionally, her entitlement work has involved municipal incentives, construction management and surplus property dispositions.

Monna firmly believes in relationships based on trust and collaboration. Whether she is working with developers or serving as a national retail representative, she is committed to achieving excellent results. Her strong, long-term relationships with national and regional retailers, developers, and brokers have given her a unique perspective and the ability to help her clients meet their objectives.

Education

Monna majored in business management at Florida Atlantic University.
